One of the 2 Ailsa/Vanhools that were not delivered new to the SYPTE is PSJ825R. New to A1 Service in 1977, it has been owned by The A1 Vanhool Group since May 1996 and has been rallied extensivley since 1997. It made a homeword journey in August 2004, and is seen at Lathalmond in August of that year. Ailsa 430 in Showbus guise at Norfolk Park Rally circa 1988 Local enthusiasts tried to save it at the time, but 430 ended its life at PVS at Barnsley. Ailsa 430 when new on an evening tour.
